The emphasis of coursework in Year 13 is on the analysis and development of an existing product with a view to redesigning either the product or an aspect of it. The pupils completed a 10 page A3 design folder documenting the stages of their redesigned product. They created a range of design ideas and developed these using computer aided design. They were then expected to produce a three-dimensional prototype, which represented the practical outcome of the product analysis and development. The pictures below show the high standard of work produced by our Year 13 this year.
