A valiant display by the girls’ A team who won five of their matches scoring over 25 tries but unfortunately were beaten by Dungannon Royal 3-2 to place overall second in the West of Ulster Blitz. Therefore Dungannon will be travelling to Kingspan this year and their opponents will be decided on Thursday.
The B (Development) team won one match and were only narrowly beaten 1-0 in another couple showing excellent potential.
It was a great days rugby, although extremely windy, and the girls conducted themselves admirably.We now look forward to the The Ulster Sevens Contact Cup, to be played after Easter.
