Year 9 pupils Kerri Graham and Asher Beadle have been awarded Gold certificates in the UK Junior Mathematical Challenge. This is an outstanding performance by these two young people as it means that their scores were in the top 6% of over 260000 entrants from across the UK. They also tied for the Best in School position.
The next 13% were awarded Silver certificates and in this category Tiana-Grace Abbott, Sophie Armstrong, Alicia Beadle, Abi Brock, Catherine Fleming, Caryn Graham, Angel Huang, Ellie McCartney and Christopher McHugh were successful.
Bronze certificates went to the next 21% – Rachel Cullinan, Matthew Dolan, Luke Duncan, Nathan Kelly, Ethan Maguire, Ellen Moutray, James Patterson, Taeya Quinn, Rebekah Robinson, Tabby Stephen, Ben Taggart and Chloe Thompson
Congratulations to these budding mathematicians – enjoy your summer break and come back refreshed in September, ready to use your knowledge and skills all over again.
