As part of a UK pilot project, Enniskillen Royal Grammar School welcomed the British Army Careers team to school on the 8th and 9th of November for two days of STEM activities.
The project involved all of our Year 10,11 and 12 pupils engaging in certificated STEM tasks across both sites, and ERGS is the first school ever in the UK to have all three challenges taking place at the same time. From bridge building in Year 10, forensic science in Year 11 to mathematical problem solving in Year 12, our young people utilised and applied teamwork, decision making and problem solving skills to real life situations.
The event was a great success and congratulations to all involved.
