Over the weekend our Ulster athletics champions travelled to Dublin to represent both ERGS and the Ulster Province in the All Irelands.
On the Friday evening, Yr10 Annabelle McKenzie ran in the Inters Steeple-chase finishing in 8th position overall but running a PB, 9 seconds faster than her qualifying time, and coming home as the first Ulster Athlete.
On Saturday, the senior boys 4×400 relay team of Eamon Greene, James Nixon , Patrick Williams and Adam Cathcart, ran a superb race but just missed the Bronze medal, finishing a very respectable 4th.
And finally Yr11 Harry McKenzie ran in the Inters 3000m, finishing a fantastic 2nd and bring home the Silver medal.
A massive congratulations to all six athletes on a superb achievement.
