Miss Wynne and Mrs Boles accompanied the A2 Nutrition and Food Science class to Loughry Campus CAFRE to experience a HACCP workshop on Wednesday 27th November. The experience allowed the pupils to put their learning into action! A fantastic experience for the pupils to be able to visualise a real factory environment and apply real knowledge and understanding to the area of food safety, particularly in terms of hazard identification, determination of CCPs and the monitoring/verification procedures involved with a HACCP process.
