Congratulations Eadie Fallis, ‘Sweet Caroline’ Competition Winner.

Congratulations to Eadie Fallis in 8C who won a competition in P7 to design a kit for the mascot for the U19 Northern Ireland Ladies Football Championships. 3,500 primary school pupils entered the competition and Eadie’s design was selected as the best one. The Football Association then had an online competition to name the mascot and the winning name “Sweet Caroline” was chosen. This song is a great favourite of the Northern Ireland fans and is sung regularly at all the men’s international matches.

Part of Eadies’ prize is a visit for Eadie and her class (8C) to the new Northern Ireland Stadium on Wednesday 8 March 2017.
