The key subjects within this learning area; History, Geography, Home Economics, Learning for Life and Work, Business Studies and Economics are at the heart of global issues and change. The subjects in this learning area strive to create connections between the learner, their history, culture and environment whilst arming them with the responsibilities and understanding to make sense of current affairs and equip them to be able to make informed decisions for their futures in an increasingly uncertain and challenging world.
