The class of 2018 have achieved an excellent set of GCSE results which are a fitting tribute to their hard work, the commitment of their teachers and the strong support of their parents.
94% of all grades are at A*-C with almost 80% coming in at A*-B. Many pupils sustained top grades across nine or ten subjects and forty-nine pupils have seven A grades or better in their portfolio.
Top achievers are Hannah Irvine and Victoria Wilson who each achieved a magnificent ten A*s, Ellen Bloomfield and Joel Honeyman who achieved nine A*s and 1A, Maeve O’Dolan who gained 9 A*s, Robbie Mills who achieved eight A*s, one A and one B, Bethany Foster who achieved eight A*s and one A, Sebastian Barnett who achieved seven A*s and two As, Rachel Thompson who gained seven A*s one A and one B, Leah Doherty who achieved six A*s, three As and one B, Maxim Barnett who gained six A*s, two As and 1B, Danny Farragher and Zoe McCutcheon who each gained five A* and five As, Trudie McComb and Thom Morton who each gained five A*s, four As and one B and Sophie McIlwrath who achieved five A*s, four As and one C.
