On Friday 31st May five of our Year 9 pupils travelled to Magee University to take part in the Amelia Earhart STEM Challenge. They competed against 15 other teams who were all tasked with building a Model Plane, Designing a Poster, A Flying Competition as well as being interviewed by a panel of guests. They worked as a team throughout the day and emerged as runner ups when all the scores were combined for each of the various sections. Well done to Katie, Josh, William, Naomi-Jane and Eva on a job well done. No doubt they will enjoy playing with the prize in school.
