On Friday 23rd February our year 8 pupils teamed up with the year 8s of St Michael’s College to take part in a series of team challenges and ice breaker activities. In total 240 pupils where organised into mixed teams and challenged to work together to overcome a series of problem solving tasks delivered by a team of 6th form pupils from both schools.
This event is the first of a series of similar activities planned for the year as both ERGS and St Michael’s work together on a Community Relations Equality and Diversity project we call ‘More that unites us than divides us’. We are already looking forward to welcoming Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre into school this coming April for event number two which will explore the ideas of prejudice and discrimination.
