As part of the KS3 preventative curriculum, we welcomed Love for Life into school this week. Year 8 took part in the I-Zone workshop which dealt with issues such as self-image, puberty, banter vs bullying, friendships and keeping safe online. Year 10 participated in the Icebergs and Babies Workshop which explored the pressures young people face, the emotional aspects of relationships as well as pregnancy and STIs.
We would like to say a big thank you to Sheena and Phil from Love for Life who delivered two very fun and interactive workshops which gave pupils some very sound advice.
