5 crews went to Lough Rynn Regatta on Saturday afternoon with 3 Boys Eights and 2 girls’ eights competing in the Division 1 events.
The girls first eight Eva Johnston, Rhea Cartin Mc Closkey, Ruby Hamill, Kate Robinson, Naomi Robinson, Acorn Cassidy, Isabella Wright, Zara Welsh and cox Abbey Wilson took the win in a time of 6.52.5 over the crews from Commercial RC and St Michael’s. The Men’s race was won by Methody after the boys First eight had technical difficulties and St Joseph’s were disqualified.
