Sixteen girls from the Inter and Senior Netball Squads took time out of their busy Friday night schedules to attend a Team-building evening of food (Chez McDonalds) and the NNI U21 Exhibition Match vs Hertfordshire at Lisburn Racquets Club. This was a super night out for the girls and staff who attended (Miss Johnston and Mrs McIntosh).
The match was a friendly in advance of the European Championships on 5th-8th October in Sheffield. The connection between the two teams was through the Hertfordshire GK who is, in fact, a member of the NI U21 squad. She swapped teams to play with her NI buddies in the last quarter, to tremendous applause.
