Our Post-16 ‘Well-Being Days’ have made a lasting impact on all those who attended. On Monday, Year 13 pupils, and today, Year 14 pupils, participated in activities led by Cancer Focus, Core Kids, and Moodwatchers, all aimed at enhancing their physical and mental well-being.
Jill from Cancer Focus delivered an impactful talk on cancer prevention, addressing the dangers of vaping and alcohol abuse. Her hard-hitting messages provided students with essential knowledge to make healthier choices.
Gary from Core Kids energised everyone with team-building challenges and dance, encouraging movement, fun and friendship.
Each day concluded with a powerful session by Shane Martin from Moodwatchers. As a respected psychologist, educator and motivational speaker, Shane focused on building resilience for the lead-up to exams and shared valuable techniques for managing stress.
These Well-Being Days offered our students vital tools to support their health and well-being, preparing them to face challenges both in and beyond the classroom.
