The Rowing club is now up and running since early September after another very successful season in 2016 in which the boys retained their Junior 8+ Irish title for the third year in succession. This is a very exciting time for us as we settle into our new school environment. We have seen lots of new faces at training on the water over the last few weeks and all are progressing very well.
The first race of the season for many of the rowers will be in early November in Co. Wicklow on Blessington lakes. The majority of the beginners will be looking forward to their first event in early December in Carrick on Shannon. Those wishing to be involved should get in contact with Mr Holland ASAP.
