Year 12 pupils took part in the UK Intermediate Mathematical Challenge on 7th February. This was really challenging for the pupils and allowed them to extend their mathematical skills and knowledge. Congratulations to all who took part. Many of the students were awarded certificates.
Bronze certificates were awarded to the following pupils:
Rebecca Dickson, Nadine Curtis, Tyler Donaghy, William Coalter, Sasha Moore, Ruth Beadle, Rhian Thompson, Ryan Carson, Ellie-Mae Breen, Sarah Murray, David Stinson, Luca Quinn, Stephen Balfour, Emily Stewart, Sophie Beattie and Hugo Graham.
Silver certificates were awarded to the following pupils:
Norbert Polak, Toms Roma, Samantha Lee, Connor Egerton, Holly Cobain, Nichola Allen, Alice Parkinson and Jason Bothwell.
A Gold certificate was awarded to Carlo Tripp, who also received Best in the Year. On the back of his great result, he was invited to take part in the Kangaroo Challenge. We await the result from this.
