Great competition today at the Forum for the Year 12 Fermanagh Netball Blitz. 4 schools took part – Devenish, St Fanchea’s, Fivemiletown and ERGS.
We had the opening game against Devenish which we won comfortably 15-2, goals slotted in beautifully by Mya Binnom and Sasha Milne.
Our second game against St Fanchea’s started off a bit shakily but we soon got back into the rhythm and won 13-4.
This left one game to play, both schools on equal points! It was the decider. Very tense play with ERGS fighting to be within 3 points of Fivemiletown at the half time whistle. Both teams really wanted the win, but it was to be Fivemiletown who inched ahead, winning by 11-5.
Excellent play from all the teams, and ERGS bringing home silver medals! Well done.
