A grand total of £1,365 was raised for Operation Rescue through our fundraiser this week. This is an absolutely phenomenal outcome, and we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed so generously.
Our Senior Pupil Leadership Team were simply outstanding in leading this initiative. Their enthusiasm, commitment and positivity were infectious, and encouraged great generosity across both sites. The FERM coffee cart, selling coffee and crêpes, also helped to create a fantastic atmosphere and made it an extra-special day for our Year 14 students.
We now look forward to making a presentation to Kate Doherty, whose dedication to Operation Rescue continues to make a profound difference. Kate is someone who has a long-standing and special connection to our school community, and it will be a privilege to present this generous amount, which will go a long way in supporting the work of Operation Rescue. One hundred per cent of the money raised goes directly to supporting communities in Ethiopia.
