Regent traveled to Enniskillen to face a very young ERGS team. Enniskillen started the game with a bang and captain Alex Parke crossed the line within the first 5 minutes. Flyhalf Eddie Keys converting. In slippery conditions ERGS handled the ball really well and some slick inter passing between backs saw winger Stuart Brown cross over in the corner for an unconverted try.
Not to be left behind, ERGS forwards started to dominate and second row Neil Rutledge finished off a great team effort for an unconverted try. Alex Parke rounded off an outstanding morning with 2 more tries before half time to leave the score 27-0 at half time. Some stern words at half time galvanised the Regent boys and they came out a changed side, however a superb defensive performance by the whole ERGS team saw them keep a clean sheet. Calum Smyton rounded off a solid performance with a converted try to leave the final score 34-0 to Enniskillen Royal.
