The 61st Erne Head of the River went ahead on Saturday 10th March after having to be re-scheduled due to the snow the previous weekend. The Boat Club had a hugely successful day on the Erne winning the Girl’s Junior 8 and also went on to record the fastest women’s eight on the day, a remarkable achievement. The Boy’s Junior 8 also won their event over RBA in comfortable style.
The Boat club had 5 Junior 16 girl’s eights enter on the day and the Enniskillen Royal Boat Club ‘A crew’ won the event beating Commercial Rowing Club from Dublin who finished second ahead of Colaiste Iognaid from Galway into third. All our crews performed exceptionally well and are now heading for Lagan Head of the River in Belfast on Saturday 17th March.
