Towards the end of term South-West College held a Celebration of Success event where the Schools Partnership pupils were recognised and rewarded for their success and hard work. Within the School of Creative Arts, Lauren Gavin and Sally Huang were rewarded for their outstanding performance in HSK1 and HSK3 Mandarin Chinese, respectively. Thier Mandarin tutors, Ms Ying Chen and Yongxin Ning were present to congratulate them in person. Jodie Doherty, Year 14, was the winner for the Pearson BTEC National Extended Certificate in Engineering – Entitlement framework (Post 16) within the School of Engineering. Her award was presented by Ms Joanne McGovern, Deputy Head of the School of Engineering at South-West College. Congratulations to all three ERGS pupils who were most deserving of the recognition they received at this ceremony.
