Our newly elected Senior Student Leadership Team are to be congratulated on their appointment and are now looking forward to the challenges ahead as we start the 2024-25 academic year at Enniskillen Royal Grammar School.

Subjects studied: Biology, Technology and Design, Government and Politics (French at AS)
Involvement in School Life: I have had the privilege of being a part of our school rugby teams since joining the school back in Year 8, I feature regularly in both the first and second XV and take part in the various cup competitions linked with both teams throughout the year. This year I have had the opportunity to help out with coaching the enthusiastic first years. I am also heavily involved with SU in school and have been given the chance to be a part of the committee from Year 12 onwards. Furthermore, last year I took on the role of Secretary of the School Council and in previous years I have been a Form Captain.
Career Plans:In the future I would love to go on to study Physiotherapy at Ulster University
Subjects studied: Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Economics
Involvement in School Life: I have played netball and hockey since first year and I started rugby in fourth year. I have completed my Grade 8 flute through school which has allowed me to participate in the school band as well as my Bronze DofE. I am currently working on my Gold Award. Through these activities I have had many great opportunities such as playing rugby at a high level for Ulster and Ireland. I have been lucky enough to play at Kingspan two years in a row competing in the Ulster Girls’ School 7s as well as getting the opportunity, both years, to participate in the All-Ireland Schools in which our school team was placed third last year, winning the shield.
Career Plans: In the future I would love to get a degree in Maths or Sports Science and complete a PGCE to qualify as a teacher.
Subjects studied: Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Maths.
Involvement in School Life: Throughout my time at ERGS, I have been involved in music, participating in the Woodwind Ensemble. I have enjoyed playing netball since Year 8. Recently, I participated in the Soroptimists’ Public Speaking competition and won the Fermanagh Feis Public Speaking competition. In school I have completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and I am currently working towards completing my Gold Award. I am also member of ERGS Scripture Union and the SU Inter-Schools where I have recently been appointed Chairperson.
Career Plans:I hope to study dentistry with the aim of eventually specialising in implant and surgical dentistry.
Subjects studied: Business Studies, Technology & Design and Religious Studies
Involvement in School Life: During my time at school, I have tried to take part in a wide range of activities. I am currently Chairperson of the School Council where I have been a member for five years. I have played rugby throughout my time at school and currently play for our 1st XV as well as competing in Cricket and various other sports. In my junior years at school, I also involved myself in the School Choir and SU.
Career Plans: I hope to study either Business Management or Agricultural Technologies at Queens University Belfast.
Subjects studied: Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition and Food Science and Maths.
Involvement in School Life: I have taken part in many extra-curricular activities throughout my years at school. I am currently in the netball and hockey first teams. I also take part in athletics and cross country, where I have represented my school, Northern Ireland and Ireland and I currently hold the Under 20 Northern Ireland 3000m record which ranks me 5th in the UK. I have also completed my Gold and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
Career Plans: I hope to study Pharmacy at University.
Subjects studied: Maths, Further Maths and Physics (Spanish AS)
Involvement in School Life: I have been playing rugby at school since first year and currently play for the first XV. I have also been involved in the school’s junior cross country and athletics teams. I have a keen interest in science and I am part of the school’s extension physics programme.
Career Plan: I hope to study Physics at university.
