STEM education is vital to the future and is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Studying the subjects in this Learning Area allows young people to develop the necessary skills allowing them to participate in science based research and maintain a place in the global competitiveness. These subjects develop the processes of critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and embed them within real world applications helping to develop the next generation of innovators.

ERGS Junior B Tennis Results
The ERGS Junior Girls' B Tennis Team were in action today, putting in a determined performance against strong opposition.
There were some excellent individual victories for Ellie Calderwood and Emily Cadden, who both recorded impressive wins. Unfortunately, despite these successes, the team were unable to secure overall match victories, losing to Rockport School, Our Lady and St Patrick's College, Knock and Sullivan Upper School.
Well done to all the players for their effort, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the day.
