Congratulations to our ERGS swimmers on their fantastic performances at the Irish National Championships! 🏊♂️👏
Three ERGS pupils recently represented their clubs with distinction at the Irish National Age Group Championships in Limerick and the Irish National Youth & Senior Championships in Dublin.
🥇 Jakub Mikiewicz Lumayad enjoyed an outstanding championship, becoming Irish National Champion in the 100m Freestyle and claiming silver in the 200m Freestyle. Competing beyond his age group, Jakub also finished second overall among 12-year-olds in the 50m Freestyle Open Age Group event. He rounded off a superb week with 5th place in the 200m Breaststroke and 6th place in the 100m Breaststroke.
💪 Ryan Mongan produced an excellent performance in the 50m Breaststroke, setting a new personal best after months of dedicated training. Ryan also swam a strong 200m Freestyle leg as part of the Lakelanders 800m Freestyle Relay Team.
👏 Russell Mikiewicz Lumayad competed in the 200m Freestyle as part of his relay team, delivering a solid swim that helped his team achieve a new personal best.
These fantastic achievements are a testament to the hard work, commitment and determination shown by all three swimmers. We are incredibly proud of Jakub, Ryan and Russell and congratulate them on representing their clubs and ERGS with such distinction.
Well done to all three! 💙💛
