The ERGS Senior Rugby girls headed for Donnybrook today to play in the All Ireland contact 7s Finals. A fantastic achievement getting to the All Ireland’s as a result of a considerable amount of hard work by players and coaches alike.
The girls performed brilliantly throughout the competition and unfortunately lost 4-2 in extra time of the Plate final. An amazing achievement to be ranked at least in the Top 6 schools in Ireland! The only team to beat them in group stages going on to win the entire competition.
A great performance all round, hold your heads up high girls for getting to the final! The next target is to reclaim the Ulster Schools title.
