Matthew Brownlee (8B), travelled to Lusk outside Dublin on Saturday to compete in the All Ireland Solo Piping and Drumming Championships. We were delighted when he was placed first in the U14 Snare Drumming section. Matthew drums locally with Derryclavin Pipe Band, but competes with Syerla and District Pipe Band from Moygashel. We wish Matthew every success as he travels to Glasgow to compete in the World Solo Championships next month.
