As people across the world recognise World Mental Health day, it was a privilege to be invited to the Action Mental Health’s ‘Head First Awards’ in Belfast as nominees for the ‘Fundraising’ category. Listening to the stories and accounts of the work and initiatives young people and youth based organisations across the province are engaging with, was truly humbling and motivational in terms of raising awareness of this hugely important area of society.
It also seems fitting to acknowledge and congratulate two local award winners in today’s province wide celebration:
CAFRE Enniskillen Campus as winners of the ‘Fundraising’ category
&
Mr Brian Tracey, Principal of Holy Trinity Primary School, for his work in the ‘Championing Young People’s Mental Health’ category.
