Congratulations to Amelie Curry in Year 10 and Darcey Crawford in Year 13 who have been selected as the Northern Ireland winners in the Anthea Bell Translation Prize run by Queen’s College, Oxford University. Amelie Curry was the winner of Level 2 French and Darcey Crawford won the Level 4 Spanish competition. Both girls will now have their work put forward for judging in the U.K. final.
Well done to all ERGS pupils who took part in this challenging competition. A team of undergraduates at Oxford University and professional translators judged entries to the competition and all commented on the excellent standard of entries this year.
