Every November schools throughout the United Kingdom take part in Anti-Bullying Week. This is an opportunity to spotlight bullying and consider the steps we can take together to stop it. Anti-Bullying Week 2024 is this week, Monday 11th – Friday 15th November, with the theme being Choose Respect.
In school, we will be marking Anti-Bullying Week by focusing on the theme Choose Respect in Assembly and in PD and Tutor Time.
We want to work closely in collaboration with you as parents and carers as a vital piece of the puzzle in tackling bullying. You have a unique role to play in guiding and supporting your child through their school years and there are many positive steps you can take to help keep your child safe from bullying type behaviour and harm.
Please find below a link to the Parent and Carer Pack which has been developed by the Anti-Bullying Alliance especially for parents and carers as another tool to help you start the conversation about bullying no matter the age of your child.
