On Saturday the main competitions were held including Junior, Intermediate and Championship section bands performing and competing from throughout the province. Our school band principal player Erin Trimble was back performing as part of the Championship section with Murley Silver Band from Fivemiletown. It was also great to see many former Enniskillen Royal pupils playing as part of local bands both at the Friday night concert and in various bands competing on Saturday. Mr Magee and Mrs Bloomfield were also involved playing in the Championship section with Strabane Brass Band and Murley Silver Band respectively. Overall, it was a great weekend of music-making at a very high level within our community and lovely for our school band to be have been able to attend and showcase their work.
