Enniskillen Royal Grammar School was represented at the British Schools Pistol Shooting Championships in Cannock, Staffordshire on the 6th and 7th February. The Intermediate Team of William Moore, Emily Black and Tori Lilly who had qualified for the finals by winning the Northern Ireland Regional Qualifier in October finished the championships in 8th position. Sophia and Patrick Williams took part in the Senior Competition which was very tight with many high scoring international competitors; Sophia finished a very high 20th place and Patrick was placed second in his heat and made it to the finals where after a further two rounds he finished in 8th place. A great competition and a fantastic experience with all five pupils enjoying competing for ERGS and also as part of the Northern Ireland Schools Pistol Squad.
