On Friday 13th June, the annual Celebration of Success event was held at the Erne Campus, Enniskillen to recognise the achievements of Further Education, Apprenticeship Students and Schools Partnership pupils.
The guest speak was former SWC student Mr Darragh McGurn, a GAA based performance coach who works across Ireland to improve areas like speed, strength, nutrition, movement and mindset. Mr Li Nan, the Consul General for the People’s Republic of China, was also in attendance and presented the awards to the pupils being recognised for their prowess in Mandarin.
Enniskillen Royal Grammar School pupils who were recognised for their achievements were Sam Taggart (Year 14) for excellence in Post-16 Engineering, Finn McEvoy (Year 8) for excellence in HSK1 Mandarin Chinese, and Lin Ruo Zhang (Year 12) for excellence in HSK4 Mandarin Chinese.
Mrs Kettyle and our award-winning pupils were joined by the pupils’ parents, Ms Mi Zhou, HSK1 Mandarin Tutor and by Ms Linda Beatty, Confucius Hub Project Officer.
