Following a weekend of national uncertainty and confusion regarding A2 results, we are now extremely pleased to be able to properly acknowledge the success of our class of 2020, a very committed and resourceful group who made a distinguished contribution to our school community.
They are now heading off in pathways as diverse as Higher Level Apprenticeships in Fermanagh and London, Dentistry and Engineering at Queens, Dietetics at the University of Ulster, Animation at Norwich, Software Engineering at Aberystwyth and English Literature at Oxford. Top achievers, Victoria Wilson and Joel Honeyman who each achieved four A* grades, are going to Queens to study Medicine and Actuarial Science respectively.
In this unprecedented year for public examinations we wish to commend our students and staff for their resilience and fortitude in the face of so much uncertainty. In light of the welcome decision by the Minister of Education on Monday, we are delighted to see the class of 2020 and their achievements truly live up to our motto of Persevere and Excel in their excellent A2 results.
