Please see below message from the Education Authority in relation to transport disruption.
Dear Schools,
As you are aware there has been Industrial strike action advised for next week where the following days will see some disruption to service levels and EA bus services.
Details of Strike Action:
- Unite the Union
- 00:01 on 3 June 2024 to 23.59 on 4 June – All members to take part in strike action.
- GMB
- 00:01 on 3 June 2024 to 23.59 on 4 June – All members to take part in strike action.
- NIPSA
- 3 June 2024 – All members to take part in strike action.
- 4 June 2024 – All bus drivers to take part in strike action.
Whilst some contingency plans are in place not all services can run unaffected, therefore the following bus route numbers will be impacted by the strike action.

We would ask that you take a note of these routes which affect your school and allow pupils/parents to make their own individual transport arrangements, particularly where examinations may fall on these dates.
