Enniskillen Royal Grammar came up against Regent on what proved to be a very successful day for the Royal school. They got off to a quick start and went ahead within 5 minutes of the start with Outstanding back row Reece Barret scoring an unconverted try. Regent rallied but outstanding defence from Enniskillen saw them turn over balls and soon saw fly half Reece Smyton crossing the line and converting his own try to make it 12-0. The conditions stayed dry and Enniskillen Royal played some entertaining rugby which led to Captain Jack Rutledge scoring just before half-time with Reece Smyton converting to leave the half time score 19-0.
Regent came back firing but some determined defence saw the visitors smother any attack from the home side. From excellent forward work second row Jack Kennedy soon powered his way over for an unconverted try to make the score 24-0. This paved the way for prop Aaron Crawford to cross the line after some great linking play with the backs, Dmyton converted to make the score 31-0.
Soon after Smyton crossed for his 2nd try of the day and Ewan Haire converted to leave the score38-0.
Flyhalf Smyton rounded off a fantastic performance when he scored his 3rd try on the final whistle. He also converted to leave the final score 45-0.
