This week we have been celebrating Book Week N.I, an annual weeklong celebration of the joy of books and reading, and the important role of libraries in our schools and communities. As a happy coincidence the Book Buzz books arrived in school this week (as part of the Book Buzz scheme the school has gifted every year 8 and 9 student with their own specially chosen book, to keep and enjoy). To join in with the “Big Read” celebrations, classes have been sharing extracts of their books with their classmates in the library and have enjoyed colouring in their Book Week bookmarks in the library at lunchtime.
