Another cracking day for Cricket as the boys travelled up to Strabane Academy knowing it was likely to be a long day at the office.
Having won the toss again, Captain Gregg elected to bowl. Despite some solid line & length bowling the Strabane batting line up was very strong. M Brownlee chipped in with 2 wickets in the last and 20th over to leave hosts finishing on a rather healthy 182-2.
Undeterred ERGS went about the reply in determined fashion. Fine ground strokes from B McCormick 13, H Hasselman 9 & C Gregg 12 who were the main contributors to a final total of 75 all out in the 18th over.
Depsite a heavy loss of 107 runs, credit to the boys for making a game of it.
