On Tuesday 14th January, the Junior Team (Year 10) faced Down High School in the 3rd round of the NI Junior Bowl Competition. It was a trilling match from start to finish with superb play from both teams. Enniskillen took the early lead in the first quarter and despite a strong come back from Down HS, they held onto it for the remainder of the match. The final few seconds were nail biting as Down came within a point of stealing the game from us. Fortunately, the girls’ nerves were better than mine and they held them off scoring a final goal at the end of the match. Unfortunately, this was denied as it was deemed to have not quite left the shooters hands at the final whistle. Final score 15-14 to ERGS and a place booked in the 1/4 final. Congratulations to the whole Squad.
