FODC contacted schools about two Inclusive Youth Forum events due to take place during October and November. Unfortunately, the events had to be cancelled but they now hope to run them after school in December to mark International Day of People with Disabilities.
The Forum will be open to young people with disabilities, aged 12 – 17 years old, so they can help inform Council decisions, projects and programmes.
At the initial meetings the participants will decide on shaping the Forum, as well as discussing what activities and events they would like to see programmed by FODC in the future.
The events are planned for the following dates:
