This year’s Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award group successfully completed their Gold Expedition at the end of August. Their 4 day adventure took them across the Mourne Mountains, covering approximately 80 km.
This highly determined and resilient group of pupils conquered every challenge they met throughout their training and qualifying expedition. Their determination, positive attitude, commitment and perseverance to succeed shone through every day.
The leaders and assessors were very impressed with the group’s performance, especially their teamwork, with both groups going from strength to strength as the expedition progressed.
This fantastic group of young people have been a pleasure to work with over the last 12 months and are true ambassadors for the Enniskillen Royal Duke of Edinburgh Award.
