We are looking forward to welcoming Women’s Aid into school on the 15th, 17th, 24th and 25th October to deliver 1 ½ hour workshops entitled ‘Heading for Healthy Relationships’ to Year 11 pupils as part of the KS4 Preventative Curriculum. The range of issues they intend to cover includes:
- Rights and responsibilities within a relationship
- Issues around Stereotypes
- Domestic Violence causes and effects (supported by statistics)
- Sexting
- Consent
- How to keep yourself safe and recognising danger signs
Consent forms regarding the above workshops have been sent home this week with pupils and we would appreciate their prompt return to school prior to your son/daughter’s allocated slot.
