Despite two previous attempts, foiled by weather and COVID, at a whole school photo, everything finally fell into place today.
The team from Tempest Photography arrived on site at 7:30am to start setting up the scaffolding which would later accommodate the 1100 strong community of Enniskillen Royal Grammar School.
After a damp start the rain cleared around 9:30 am just in time for pupils to start the climb to the top in pre-arranged height order.
At approximately 10:30 am the final pupils and staff were slotted into place and the first whole school photo was taken.
It is a great joy that this was successful as we would not have wanted to miss the opportunity to include our current Y14 pupils who were the first to join ERGS as the new intake to Y8 in September 2016.
Huge thanks to all the pupils and staff for their willing and good humoured co-operation which made everything go smoothly and warm thanks to the Tempest Photography team who directed all operations so professionally.
Apologies for the poor photo quality here – I blame the phone!
There will be an opportunity to purchase the official version- details to follow later on our app and website and in school.
