Our NEW after school homework clubs will begin w/c Monday 10th January at Cooper Crescent and Lough Shore libraries, providing a welcoming space to work on homework assignments and to get support from library staff. ICT resources will also be provided.
The Cooper Crescent homework club will be open for years 8, 9 and 10 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and for year 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3.30pm -4.30pm.
The Lough Shore library club will be open to years 11 and 12 Monday to Thursday 3.30pm – 4.30pm.
Places must be booked in advance via the Homework Club page on Google Classroom. Pupils should simply post the day and date of the session they wish to book for. Parents will be contacted if a booking is made but the pupil does not attend without a valid reason.
Mobile phones will not be permitted in the sessions but chrome books and laptops will be available on both sites. Snacks will be permitted when not working on ICT equipment.
Parents/Guardians -We ask that if your son/daughter signs up to Homework Club on a particular day you take responsibility for their transport home at the end of the Club at 4.30 pm on that day. We will contact you if a pupil is booked into the Club but does not attend without a valid reason on any day.
