The National Youth Choir of Northern Ireland (NYCNI), previously known as the Ulster Youth Choir was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 11-24 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards. Young ERGS singers Annie Fowler (Year 9) and Abbey Wilson (Year 8) will be participating in the NYCNI Junior Choir online this summer. The course will run from 19th – 23rd July with a plan of delivering the choral classes online and then, hopefully, bringing the young singers together in person on the last day of the course. It is hoped that a large, open space will be allowed (with social distancing) for the ‘in-person’ day or alternatively the final day will be online. We wish the girls every enjoyment in this venture as they work with other talented young singers at NYCNI.
