Nine crews competed at Lagan Autumn Head last Saturday and won the six categories that they were entered in.
Race 1 was 4200m.
There were 2 wins –
Sophia Latimer, Cat Starrett, Heidi Bogle, Sophie Collum, Hannah Keaney, Maya Kettyle, Martha McCreesh, Casey Lee Leonard and Leah Topping (cox) won WJ16 8X+ in 20.40.9
Mason Maxwell, Dara Mangan, Albie Cluff, Jack Cuthbertson, Jonjo McAleer, Ethan McCaffrey, Tommy Chen, Anton Neal and Finlay Bell won MJ16 8X+ in a great time of 20.16.4
In Race 2 there were 4 wins. This race was 2700m in length.
Maeve Rolston McAuliffe, Kaitlyn Read, Beth Bradley, Micheala Ihnat and Leah Topping won the WJ14 4X+ category in 13.29.6
Josh Allen, Oliver Collins, Levi Thompson, Eli Irvine and Cox Freya McNeary had a fantastic win over the quad from Bann RC in MJ14 4X+ category by 0.57.3. They completed the course in 12.21.6.
Oliwia Muras and Holly Shaw won WJ15 2X in a time of 15.57.7, taking the win over crews from Queens and City of Derry. Benjamin Johnston and Ethan Vance won the MJ15 2X in 14.33.8.
Well done to all the rowers who competed on Saturday and thanks to the coaches who travelled to Belfast. The last race for 2025 is Carrick Head of the River at Lough Rinn on Saturday, 6th December.
