Fourteen members of our Scripture Union (SU) travelled to Belfast last Saturday to attend ‘Making Your Mark,’ an event organised by Scripture Union Northern Ireland (SUNI) to equip and support the young people as they take part in SU in school this year. The Enniskillen Royal group were joined by a pupil from Fivemiletown College-hope you can spot Toby in our group photo! An extensive programme of workshops, praise, prayer and small groups were facilitated to inspire and challenge our young people so that that they can hit the ground running when they return to planning and delivering their own SU programme for the coming year. Wonderful hospitality and the company of SU members and their teachers from a host of other secondary schools from across Northern Ireland was enjoyed and new friendships formed. Sincere thanks to our Fermanagh & Fivemiletown SU Schools’ Worker Alastair McFarland for his input at the event and to Jonathan Graham for giving up his Saturday to drive our school minibus and get us safely there and back despite the challenges of Storm Amy!
