Mixed fortunes for our teams today in their respective Ulster Schools’ competitions.
The Medallions continue their run in the Shield with a closely fought 7-3 victory over Grosvenor Grammar. They have now booked a place in the Shield Quarter Final for the first time since 2018. Our U14 got their first matches of 2026 under their belts and it’s great to see a few lads back from injury on the teamsheet.
The 2nd XV fell to Regent House 27-13 in a tough away Plate quarter final. They now bow out of the Ulster Schools’ Plate with the focus of the senior squad now switching to the 1st XV Schools’ Bowl fixture against Omagh next Saturday!!
The U13 round robin against Grosvenor and Carrickfergus was cancelled but the U14 boys got a dominant 31-0 win over Carrickfergus and with a short turnaround lost narrowly to Grosvenor by a scoreline of 7-5.
