Netball Trial Success

On Wednesday 14^th November, 16 girls from Years 8, 9 and 10 attended the Northern Ireland Netball South West Academy trials in Fivemiletown along with pupils from other local schools. Several hours worth of drills and matches the ensued from which a squad of 14 was selected for the U13s and a squad of 16 was selected for the U15s. After a week of waiting on tenterhooks, I am delighted to report that the following girls have been selected from Enniskillen Royal Grammar School:-

U13 South Western Development Squad

Amanda Farrell

Anna Wilson

Freya Brennan

Leah Irwin

Gemma Elliott

Eva Johnston

U15 South Western Development Squad

Scarlett Keys

Rachel Mullan

Sophia Williams

The girls will attend training throughout the year and will have the opportunity to be further selected to play in their age-group tournaments later in the year.

This is a great achievement, so a big congratulations to all 9 girls.
