The ERGS debating team of Barry Hutchinson and Owen McKinley lost out to Campbell College in the semi-finals of the Northern Ireland Debating Competition yesterday. The debate was held in the Council Chamber of Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council at Mossley Mill and the Motion for the debate was: This House believes that the Northern Ireland Executive can no longer afford the NHS in its current form. Owen was nominated for Best Individual Speaker so, along with Annie Fowler, will be part of the Final on 2nd May at City Hall, Belfast. Best of luck to Annie and Owen!
